Apex Microtechnology Expands Precision IC Line with Advanced Driver and Amplifier ICs

Apex Microtechnology, a leading provider in precision power analog technology, has announced an exciting expansion of its Precision IC product line. Previously featuring nine linear amplifier ICs and four driver and sensor ICs, Apex has now added two innovative products to its lineup: an 8-channel high-voltage driver and a photoreceiver amplifier IC. These new products are designed to seamlessly integrate with Apex’s existing high-performance IC range, which supports supply voltages up to 350V and is tailored for multi-channel configurations.

AIC1513: 8-Channel High Voltage Driver

The AIC1513 is an affordable, versatile high-voltage driver IC featuring eight push-pull outputs. Built for durability in demanding industrial environments, this driver supports both capacitive and resistive loads, making it ideal for piezoelectric transducers, electroluminescent displays, and micro-mechanical actuators. Operating at a maximum voltage of 300V with up to 40 mA per output, the AIC1513 is designed for robust performance across a range of applications.

AIC1638: Photo Receiver Amplifier IC

  • Applications: Light barriers, smoke detection, fluid level sensing, and similar light-sensitive applications

The AIC1638 is a compact receiver amplifier developed to enhance the sensitivity of photo diodes used in light-based applications such as smoke detectors, light barriers, and fluid level monitors. By filtering ambient light and amplifying signals from a photo diode, it delivers reliable, conditioned outputs via a current mirror stage. Additionally, the AIC1638 includes integrated polarity protection and supports multiplexed configurations, simplifying wiring for complex applications. It requires minimal external components, making it an efficient solution for light sensing tasks over varying distances.
