The PCMM2G controller is backward-compatible with Kollmorgen’s previous-generation PDMM and PCMM controllers, providing a straightforward migration path while offering increased flexibility and improved performance. With a 1.5–3.5x faster fieldbus cycle rate than its predecessors, it ensures smoother and faster operation across a wide range of systems, including third-party automation solutions.

Powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, the PCMM2G delivers industry-leading cycle times. It supports everything from simple machine modules to complex automation environments, handling up to 64 axes of synchronized path motion. This includes advanced moves such as S-curves, making it suitable for high-precision tasks in diverse industries.
Key features include 16 GB of internal flash memory, six digital inputs, two digital outputs, integrated functional safety modules, and an onboard human-machine interface (HMI) panel. These capabilities ensure the controller can meet the demands of both simple and highly complex automation systems.
